The Greater Wabash Baptist Association exists to encourage and equip churches to fulfill the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:19-20)

 

The Association seeks to fulfill this reason for existence by:

     A.     Encouraging churches to cooperate together.

     B.     Providing leadership development.

     C.     Promoting church vitality.

     D.     Facilitating mission involvement.

GWBA has three new pastor/wives...

Ellis Mound Baptist Church

Please welcome Trevor Pasley and his wife Emily to the Greater Wabash Association. Trevor was recently called to Ellis Mound Baptist Church. Trevor is originally from Wayne City. He was called to ministry in 2014 and supply preached in several churches before serving for one year as the youth minister at East Salem Baptist Church, which is his home church. He married Emily Green in 2017. They moved to  southern Indian where they have served as youth ministers for two and a half years. Trevor and Emily are expecting their first child on August 19! Be praying for them and the church as they begin this exciting new chapter in their lives.

 

Keenes Missionary Baptist Church

Let’s rejoice with Keenes Missionary Baptist Church in their calling of Matt Barner to serve as their Pastor. Matt is originally from Missouri. He lives near McLeansboro, IL and manages a 600 sow hog farm. He previously served the Macedonia Baptist church for 8 years. Matt is married to Kim and they have 3 children Sally, Abraham, and Molly. Please pray for this ministry family.

Wayne City Baptist Church

Please join Wayne City in welcoming their new pastor, Jay Loucks. He  and his wife Jo Anna have two young adult children, Jay III and Jenna.

Please pray for Jay and Jo Anna as they prepare to move to Wayne City in the coming weeks and begin their ministry there in early September.
